Nepal Tamang National federation has been established as an umbrella organization to study, promote, preserve and research scientifically the right, religion, language, literature, culture, traditional and script of tamang people. It aims to involve all those active people as well as established organization into a union, its other proposes are to stimulate the tamang people in every aspect of their lives to join them affectingly, to be cooperative among them and to have their mutual relationship with other castes and their organizations.

This is an authorized organization which has been registered legally at district kathmandu administrative office on 27th Baisakh/its registration number is 863.On the other hand, it has been registered at social welfare council as well . On 21th jest 2059/ and its registration number at the very centre is 13554.

Objectives of Organization:

1. To stimulate the tamang people in every aspect of their lives and to involve different social organization which for the welfare o f the tamang people.

2. To help different organization for their development which are related with tamang community. After then the federation aims to make the people lively.

3. Its another purpose is to advertise to promote and preserve the language, literature, script, religion, culture, tradition and history of tamang people by studying them.

4. It aims to develop the educational, intellectual, physical, economical and social conditions of tamang people.

5. To arrange various programs in order to make conscious the backward people.

6. To arrange as well as make them arrange different programs against the social distortions such as selling of girls etc.

7. There are social discriminations in every country regarding caste, language, religion, seen and culture etc. Its aim is to oppose such discriminations suggesting every people of the world to behave friendly.

8. One of the aims of this federation is to together with other organization of the country or out of the country for the common purpose.

9. To work cooperatively for the welfare of the caste as well as development of the nation.

10. To support the children, women, old and unable people at any cost within the tamang community.

11. The next goal of its, is to talk to the government for the manifesto of human right, political right, economical and social right and to work order to support the treaty-169 of international labor organization and draft manifesto of UNO that is for the right of aborigines and tribes.

12. To be involved in different activities in order to advice the goals of the federation.

13. Lastly, this federation can make the historical, documents and films for the purpose of making conscious the people central working committee-NTNF.
