Introduction
Tamang Media Group (Tamang Sachar Samuha) TMG, is an only one organization of tamang journalists. TMG is a non-political, non-professional organization. It was established in 2060 BS in initiation of Rabindra Tamang who is known as a writer of tamang culture and history. It was registered in 2061.  Mr. Rabindra was the first chairperson of this organization. After that Mr. RudraSingh Tamang, another writer and journalist headed TMG for short period (Six months).

More than two hundreds tamang journalists are working in different media in Nepal. But we don't have strong access in mainstream media. We are not being able to access in mainstream media. That's why all kinds of activities and events of our society are ignored in media. In this situation, we thought that we need an organization related with media. Therefore TMG has been established to fulfill this gape.  From the beginning, we are trying to contribute something to change our society positively.

Objectives
· To build up professional Skills of tamang journalists.
· To make access in mainstream media of tamang society.
· To create an appropriate environment for tamang journalists to change the society through media.
· To build a platform for tamang society to discuss in various issues, like, history, culture, religion, language, literature, politics etc.
· To aware our society about politics, culture, religion, right and freedom through media.
· To develop and promote friendly relation and partnership among the tamang journalists with each other.
· To encourage tamang journalists to perform something for tamang society in their field respectively.
